Me and my classmates have recently moved to a new software called Adobe Illustrator. This software used vector graphics instead of bit maps. When you zoom in into an image made by vector graphics, it scales it to the size of the display. Animators and graphic designers can you this software to make images for anything. Animators use this software to create a lot of the smooth animations and creative art you see in animated content online is done using vector images.
Graphic designers also use this software, most use it commercially. Graphic designer are contracted to make logos sign and other kinds of art. I could also use the software when and if I’m contracted to make some art for a company or an individual. I’m good to all bit-map and vector graphic all share pros and cons. Vector graphics are useful for storing images highly dependent on lines and polygons. Vector files can also be easily scaled and manipulated with simple text. On the downside vector graphics cannot store complex images like photographs. Bit-mapas can be easily created with preexistentes pixels. Pixels can also be altered individually according to the user. Like vectors they also have cons for instance the size of the file may be larger than of a vector file. Bit-maps will never be easy to scale and that can really change the look or the way of the image. Personally I would rather you the easiest for any kind of work I have to do. Summary What are vector graphics who uses vector graphics what would I choose
