Me and my classmates have recently moved to a new software called Adobe Illustrator. This software used vector graphics instead of bit maps. When you zoom in into an image made by vector graphics, it scales it to the size of the display. Animators and graphic designers can you this software to make images for anything. Animators use this software to create a lot of the smooth animations and creative art you see in animated content online is done using vector images.
Graphic designers also use this software, most use it commercially. Graphic designer are contracted to make logos sign and other kinds of art. I could also use the software when and if I’m contracted to make some art for a company or an individual. I’m good to all bit-map and vector graphic all share pros and cons. Vector graphics are useful for storing images highly dependent on lines and polygons. Vector files can also be easily scaled and manipulated with simple text. On the downside vector graphics cannot store complex images like photographs. Bit-mapas can be easily created with preexistentes pixels. Pixels can also be altered individually according to the user. Like vectors they also have cons for instance the size of the file may be larger than of a vector file. Bit-maps will never be easy to scale and that can really change the look or the way of the image. Personally I would rather you the easiest for any kind of work I have to do. Summary What are vector graphics who uses vector graphics what would I choose

My Photoshop skills make me feel protected, I really like Photoshop and I also think about buying the software, but I still don't know too well how to use the software. I was very excited to use blend colors to colorize black and white images. These blending modes help me put color into an image and make the color natural. when I heard about the project I got excited because I could use some of my families photos that are in black and white and give it color to make it look real. I chose the farmer picture to add to my portfolio. I tried to make the farmer as modern and realistic as I could. To be honest I think I did a really good job, considering it didn't take as much time I did with my other image. I'm very confident, seeing my work very well, so I'm really safer and now I think I have good Photoshop handling. I think now that I have a good fundamental understanding of Photoshop and hopefully, my skills with photoshop the software will develop as I continue this very pleasuring class.
Summary - Photoshop - Blending modes - Reflection For this assignment, I had to make a black and white picture look realistic with colors. I choose the alone girl, this was because everyone was doing the farmer and the seascape. I wanted to be different( Mr. B said he would grade harsher on the other images). I did not get any of the production phase. I had to ask so many questions, not just to Mr. B but my peers that sat beside me but, when I was lost I found it easier to ask Mr. B then my peers. My experience with this new thing, it was hard. What I found the most vexatious was making a new layer for everything. The simplest thing that I discovered, was to use the shortcut "Q" to highlight everything in red, this would assist me to see what I selected with my magic wand. The hardest thing was making sure I was using the accurate colors to colorize the image. I used some tool the my class wasn't introduced to, the blur tool allowed me to as it is said in the name to blur. The blur tool was like smearing pencil on a piece of paper to make it look like the colors are mixed. Mr. B also introduced us to the new blending modes in photoshop, blending modes was my friend in this assignment. In conclusion, I believe that this assignment (blending colors) was hard, but at the end of the day, it was fun to overcome a new challenge.
